Co-Curriculars

The Appleton Area School District strongly encourages students at all grade levels to participate in co-curricular activities. These activities are not only a fantastic way to connect with classmates and engage with the community, but they also help develop essential lifelong skills such as teamwork and time management, which are crucial for future success.

Why Now?

Transitioning from elementary to middle school and from middle to high school is a significant change. During this time, students begin to explore which activities best suit their interests. Participating in co-curricular activities is a wise choice, as it provides a variety of new options and allows young people to discover what aligns with their personalities. Middle school offers the perfect opportunity to try out different clubs and activities before the fast pace of high school schedules kicks in.
