Counseling
Student Services
The student services team includes professional school counselors, social worker, and school psychologist that help students attain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that promote student achievement and personal success in the areas of academic, career, and personal/social development.
Counseling
The school counselor's role is to be a partner in maximizing student achievement through counseling support, collaboration of staff, parents/guardian, and local community, and working with the student in the areas of academic, personal/social, and career development.
Using a developmental counseling approach, the program emphasizes a proactive, facilitative, and collaborative framework to access how students are different as a result of the school counseling program. School counselors use and collect data to assess achievement, progress, and program and services.
Counselors work with students in the classroom, in small groups and individually, to help insure maximum learning and growth.
