Registration

The district’s required annual registration is available May 19 via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal where you will confirm and/or update your student/family’s information. Now would be a great time to verify that your portal account is active; if you need help in establishing your account please contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@aasd.k12.wi.us for assistance. If you need to reset your username and/or password, please see the instructions on the portal.

Be sure to take advantage of getting a jump start on the 2017-18 school year by completing the registration as early as possible for your family. Look for information coming from the district via email and voice message in the upcoming weeks.

Why Register Early?

Prompt registration allows us to properly schedule buses, assign teachers, and provide any other services that might be necessary. Early registration allows us to provide the individual and personal attention your children deserve.

What do I need for Registration?
The parent or guardian should be prepared to fill out an enrollment form, home language form, student immunization record, health, and emergency cards when registering your child(ren). A birth certificate is required for child(ren) being registered into Kindergarten.

Information Guide to Online Enrollment for All Students

Registration Dates
August 23, 2017 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
August 24, 2017 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

At registration, please be prepared to:

  • Pick up your Student/Family Handbook (student signature required to receive)
    Receive a copy of your schedule. Students who do not pick up their schedule on the
    dates listed above will receive a copy the first day of school. Schedules will not be
    distributed prior to registration dates.
  • Locate and practice your locker combination (locker # and combination will be located
    on your schedule)
  • Have your picture taken for your ID and school picture. ID will be received immediately. (Picture make-up day will be Tuesday, September 29th)
  • Check-out your textbooks (you will need your ID for this).
  • Select an interesting paperback title that you will receive on your birthday.
  • Pay school fees ($40)
  • Purchase goggles - Science ($5, for all 7th graders and for any 8th graders who need one)

There are also a number of optional fees and supplies that can be paid for at registration that include…

  • Picture Packages
  • Hot Lunch, Breakfast, or Ala Carte
  • Madison Parent Committee
  • Locker Organizers (if available)
  • Wildcat Wear
  • PE Equipment ($8 heart rate monitor straps)

*Yearbook (to be sold at a later date) – listen for announcements

Due to the large volume of transactions during registration separate checks/payments are
required for each item. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Fees for Band/Orchestra instruments are paid directly to the TEACHER. SPORTS fees will
be paid to the Madison Middle School office once teams are determined.


New Families

New families need to notify the office of their intent to enroll their student(s) at any point prior to and throughout the summer. After new families have notified us of their students’ enrollment, and have filled out enrollment paperwork, they may go through the line as existing families would to register their students.

The parent or guardian should be prepared to fill out an enrollment form, home language form, student immunization record, health, and emergency cards when registering your child(ren).

Materials to bring with you when you register include:

  • A birth certificate for the child(ren) being registered into Kindergarten
  • Verification of address; a utility bill, bank statement, or home phone bill with your correct and current address, or rental agreement
  • Immunization records for the child(ren) being registered

Registering Later in the Year

After registration dates and times have passed, families (new or existing) can come to the office and take care of enrollment and registration anytime during office hours.
